It all started with a 5K race in July (2006) in aid of Cancer Research UK and now here I am over 22 miles worth of races later (including a 7K race entirely in a full hairy gorilla suit!) entered into London's biggest race!

   I am so excited to be able to take part in such a big and important race. I may only get the opportunity to run a marathon once and I want this to be special and memorable (for all of the right reasons) experience. And I need your support!

   After my father died of Lung Cancer, I have been trying to get healthy and to support Cancer Research in every way possible. It was a horrible experience watching the effects of Cancer, not only on my father but on everyone around him. I don't think anyone should ever have to go through that. I am doing my part to help raise money so we can fight cancer and hopefully beat it.

   I'll be running/jogging 26.2 miles, all I'm asking you to do is to donate a little money and be there with me in spirit.  This race is just days after my 30th birthday in 2007 so make it a birthday present if you must. Just do it! Donate to this great cause! Together we can make a difference!
