Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page!
This year I am taking part in 108km ride around London (check the route out here - http://ridewithgps.com/routes/94020). This will take me and 350 other riders through the streets and parks of our capital city at the dead of night! Our mission is to raise as much money for good causes as we can with a minimum target of £200 each.
Previous challenges have taken me to Brazil, India and Cuba and in total I have raised over £9000 since 2007. Again, I am cycling on behalf of the Openwork Foundation, part of the Zurich Community Trust. The Foundation supports a wide range of children's charities in the UK and abroad including - Winston's Wish (supporting bereaved children and their families, http://www.winstonswish.org.uk/), Children's Hospices UK (http://www.childhospice.org.uk/), and The Philippine Community Fund (we have built a school and have set up local development projects to take children and their families out of poverty, http://www.p-c-f.org/). As well as these a multitude of smaller local and community based projects are in receipt of funds raised through the Foundation.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
Any money you can spare would be deeply appreciated.
Thank you and best wishes,
Dr J
