Hello and welcome to this year's London Rail challenge, completion update. This years effort really did push people to their limits, as the increasingly hot weather throughout the 15km run drained the remaining energy we had from the cold 2.5km swimming section. Peter and Debbie Richards, Dave Hughes, Gina Lawrance, Tom Thompson, Dave Fielder, Chris Smith and Craig Tucker all completed the course. Completing the running was Sharon Moller with Charlotte Thaine and Savvas Matsangou both recovering from illnesses (a good effort chaps). A mention in dispatches must go to Gina for her outstanding swimming (some form of testing required here surely!). Thanks to, to Fred Green (injured), Elie Lakin , Mark Berzins, Mr & Mrs. Tucker and Lucy Whitehead for marshalling the course and giving encouragement. Thanks also to Stubbers Centre and Belhus Woods for helping with the organisation and providing their facilities. Well done to everyone This years charity partner is London Air Ambulance who have just achieved their 25,000th mission - well done and many thanks. Please give generously, as you have in the past, as your help really does make a difference. Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So please dig deep and donate now. Best Regards Craig Tucker
