Story

On Sunday 16th September members of the London SCCB "Athletics Squad" will be taking part in  the Santander Is You Flame Relay Race, raising funds for Marie Curie.

Covering 37 miles the Team will start their journey at our London Triton Square office, and using various modes of public transport that includes bikes, boats, red bus, and cable car, will finish the leg in Chelmsford.

The journey will take the Team around historical London landmarks, crossing Tower Bridge, Canary Wharf, and the Olympic Stadium.

The planned route:

Triton Square - take Boris Bike to Embankment Pier
Embankment Pier - take Thames Clippers to Tower Pier Millenium
Tower Pier - run across Tower Bridge, picture of the Olympic rings
London Bridge Station - Jubilee Line to Canary Wharf
Canary Wharf - Red Bus to North Greenwich
North Greenwich - Cable Car to Emirates Royal Docks
Emirates Roal Docks - walk to Royal Victoria Docks
Royal Victoria Docks - DLR to Stratford
Stratford - Victory Lap(s) around the Olympic Stadium
Olympic Stadium - train to Chelmsford, with a 100m final sprint
