Thank you to my friends and family for your tremendous support and sponsorship of my London Marathon run.  I completed the Marathon in 5 hours 25 minutes and 22 seconds.  Not the fastest time, but I finished it and had a truly memorable day.  My initial fundraising target was to raise £2010 in 2010 and you enabled me to pass this in early April and then to exceed my revised target of £100 a mile.

I have have raised £1538.63 from this site, £10 from virginmoneygiving.com, £1358.37 on sponsor forms and £478.23 in gift aid.  That's a total of £3385.23 inclusive of gift aid which works out at £10.40 a minute for my finish time or £129.21 a mile. Thank you for your support.

If you would like to read my marathon story, please see my marathon page at www.35007.co.uk or to see my photos on flickr, go to http://www.flickr.com/photos/38950945@N06/sets/72157623893045837/detail/

The funds I have been raising will benefit national Mencap, a charity with whom I have been connected for over 30 years.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to Mencap and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for them.

So please dig deep and donate now.
