As many of you may know, Anthony Nolan is a charity incredibly close to my heart. Upon learning that someone incredibly close to me needed a stem cell transplant (following a blood cancer diagnosis) and to hear nobody in the family was a good enough match was beyond heart breaking.

Thanks to the brilliant work at Anthony Nolan, the charity were able to locate a donor with a suitable match which gifted a second chance!

Words cannot describe how grateful I am to Anthony Nolan for giving us one of the greatest gifts. I, like many other people never knew how life saving stem cell therapy was. I also had no idea what it meant. Naively, I assumed I have a large family, this will never happen, but it did happen and Anthony Nolan has been so instrumental.

Words will never be able to express my gratitude to the fantastic doctors, nurses, support networks and the selfless donor who donated his stem cells. I vowed that one day I would endure an intensive FITathon to continue to raise funds and awareness for this fantastic charity.
