We all got over the line yesterday in VERY respectable times. Fantastic achievement girls given that we couldn't run for more than a minute at a time in January!!
And great celebratory rained on bbq on Sunday afternoon!!

You may be aware that our mums running group is taking part in the Bluewater 10k Run on Sunday June 5th.
So why are we telling you this?
We have collectively decided to run for the Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research charity, the only UK charity solely dedicated to research into blood cancers, including leukaemia, lymphoma and myeloma. Your contribution will make a difference to the lives of the 28,500 people diagnosed every year with a blood cancer. (see www.beatbloodcancers.org for more details)
Whatever you are able to donate will make a difference to Leukaemia and Lymphoma sufferers (and we PROMISE not to hit the Bluewater shops with it afterwards!!)

You may be aware that our mums running group is taking part in the Bluewater 10k Run on Sunday June 5th.
These are mums that wouldn't / couldn't even run for a bus at Christmas time. We started our training in January, running one minute on/one minute off and have (very) slowly increased our fitness levels to the point where we can actually run without gasping like stranded fish. Some of us even have some muscles in our legs!

This charity has special relevance to six of us in the group whose children attend Lorenden Prep School near Faversham - the charity has been chosen by Mrs Tebbit, the headmistress, and we are hoping to raise as much money as possible for this great cause.
