Story

PARTY IN AID OF OVARIAN CANCER

SATURDAY 14TH NOVEMBER, 7.30PM TO 1AM at PROHIBITION, 1 BISHOPSGATE

As some of you will know, July 2007 I was diagnosed with Advanced Ovarian Cancer. My kids at the time were 2 and 4 years old. My GP told my husband that I had 6 months to live.

Ovarian Cancer Action (OCA) is the leading UK charity but they need lots of support, since currently there is no early diagnosis test (ie: a smear test equivalent) and there is no treatment for the patient if the chemo does not work, like me.

We want to raise LOTS of money for OCA, so please join us for some drinks, food, a disco and some entertainment.....It will be FUN!!

Tickets are £50 per head.

PS: fyi - the symptoms for Ovarian Cancer are like IBS, namely: bloating, feeling full and abdominal pain. BUT women in their 30's or 40's don't suddenly get IBS.  I wish that I had known the symptoms.

Thanks in advance for your support.
