Bupa Great Yorkshire Run 2011 · 9 October 2011 ·

Dementia UK is the specialist dementia nurse charity. Our nurses, called Admiral Nurses – who we continually support and develop – provide life-changing care for families affected by all forms of dementia, including Alzheimer’s disease.

Story

Thank you to everyone who sponsored me. I managed to complete the race in 1hour 21minutes, which is not the quickest that I've done, but, oh my gosh, those Sheffield hills...

The atmosphere was terrific and the event was so well organised  that it was a memorable  and happy day.

Again thank you. Love to everybody x

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. Please sponsor me.

My dad Bill French has been suffering from vascular dementia for a number of years. The charity I have chosen, Dementia UK, does great work with dementia sufferers. They provide dedicated specialised nurses too.

I am doing the 10k Great Yorkshire Run on the 9th October to raise funds for them. Your support would mean alot to me and to the charity. This invidious disease affects more and more people so please help if you can.

Thank you!!!
