Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I know you've got to do something pretty big to raise some serious money. So, I've set myself a ‘pretty big’ challenge. In October, I’ll climb Kilimanjaro. This trek will be the greatest test of my stamina and the biggest mental challenge that I am ever likely to undertake.
Kilimanjaro stands at a magnificent 19,340 ft (5895m) and is the world’s tallest freestanding mountain, standing around five times the height of 3,751ft (1085m) and four and a half times the height of 4,409ft (1344m).
I'm funding this exciting trip myself but, to make the experience even more worthwhile, I'm also taking the opportunity to raise sponsorship funding for a charity close to my heart and very personal to me as my best friend has recently been diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis and any donation you make will go directly to MS at Nottingham University Hospital Charity.
When you’re diagnosed with MS, the way it affects people is very different. Everything is thrown up in the air and you have to come to terms with the diagnosis to put the pieces back together. Helping one person dear to me and, just as important, all others with MS put the pieces back together will mean so much.
Your support will keep me focused during my strict training regime over the next few months and maintain my determination to reach the Roof of Africa, , the summit of Kilimanjaro.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
I’ll keep you updated on funds raised and how I'm doing during the 7 day climb.
Thank you so much for your support.
Love
