Both my parents died of cancer, like many it has taken me years to come to terms with that loss. I want to help Cancer Research in their amazing work to find a cure for this destructive disease.

I have chosen to walk The Great wall of China as it was an ambition of my mothers.  She learnt about The Great Wall at school and it fired her imagination.  Unfortunately she never realised her dream, so I will walk it for her.

This is no mean feat for me as I will have to lose about 7 stone (98lbs) to be fit enough to do so! That is why I am giving myself until October 2018 to prepare and complete my challenge.
