Hi,

I decided to have a go at a sporting event but as I cannot run I have decided to go for the Great North Swim.

What is so "Great" about a swim?  Well, I will be swimming a mile (no big deal!!) in lake Windermere (are you impressed now?) on the 12 September at 2.30. 

 I have chosen the Ellen MacArthur Trust as I wanted to support a Childrens Charity.  I am hoping I will make the finish line but your sponship will spur me on (honest).
