As some of you know already, Cancer has become very personal to me over the last year with my family being effected. Until now, i didn't realise just how many people are diagnosed with this illness and how insignificant it makes other little problems in your life appear.
The staff at Weston Park Hospital have been amazing and the work they do is something which should be recognised. I want to do something to give as much back to them as i can to help them now and in the future.
My challenge this time is a year long event. Basically i aim to run a half marathon every month of 2011. My first three runs have been pencilled in already:
16th January - Ropsley Half Marathon (Multi Terrain) - Lincolnshire
13th February - Liversedge Half Marathon - West Yorkshire
13th March - Ashby 20mile road race - Leicestershire
I raised £800 last year for the british red cross and it would be awesome if i could double that this year. I need your help though so all donations will be much appreciated.
It's a tough challenge but i won't let anyone down and come December next year, it'll all be worth it.
