I last had a proper boxing match in 2002 at the tender age of 26 (yes, that's me on the left - the guy on the right was called "pretty boy"... not anymore :o). After giving up alcohol and pizzas for 2 months prior to that fight I vowed never to enter the ring again.

Fast forward 9 years, I'm now the wrong side of 30, 3 kilos heavier and I'm a gold cardholder at Pizza Hut, but I've decided to get in the ring again for one last round (well 3 actually) on April 14th at The Ivy Nightclub in Sydney to raise money for a great cause.

Late last year my mate James lost his daughter Jemima the day before her 2nd birthday due to a rare form of epilepsy called Dravet Syndrome.

The IDEA League is an international partnership of parents and professionals that promotes awareness of and research for Dravet syndrome and related forms of epilepsy and provides resources and support to improve the quality of life for affected individuals and families. Their primary objectives are outreach and support for families, education and resources for physicians and research.

Win or lose I'm fighting to help families like James' so dont be a tight arse, dig deep and support Louis "Two Scoops" Cooper in my last fight before I hang up the gloves and pick up the TV remote.

Cheers - Louis
