Tragically, our dear colleague Louis Lebel died earlier this year as a result of an accident whilst hiking in Scotland. Louis was a greatly valued member of the London office, his energy and enthousiasm inspiring many.
In his memory, the London office are participating in the JPMorgan Challenege at Battersea Park on Wed 8th July 2009.
We are trying to raise a significant amount of money for two specific charities relevant to Louis.
1) The Lochaber Moutain Rescue Team - http://www.lochabermrt.co.uk/
The Lochaber Mountain Rescue Team were instrumental in the search for Louis, and in the eventual recovery of his body. They are actively seeking to raise funds to construct team premises which will take the team into the new Millennium and provide them with a facility which will ensure that those who require the team’s assistance get an efficient service that is expected by the general public from the busiest team in Britain.
2) Children with Leukaemia - http://www.leukaemia.org/
Louis was a keen marathon runner, and over the last two years has raised significant funds for a charity he was specifically close to - Children with Leukaemia. Children with Leukaemia continue to seek funds to invest in cancer research, specifically targeted at children.
This site donates directly to the Lochabert Mountain Rescue Team
Any donations are received with the upmost gratitude. It is only right that Louis be remembered at an event that he used to love, and money raised for two charities so close to him.
Thank you.
