<p>Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. Fiona, Stephanie and myself took part in the Edinburgh Rock and Roll Half Marathon on 15th April 2012. We ran in memory of our lovely mam who died 6 years ago from breast cancer. It would have been her 62nd birthday on 15th April, and that was the 'clinching' factor in the 3 of us deciding to take up this challenge together. </p>
<p>Fiona has now completed her 4th half marathon and finished in a time of 1 hour 51 minutes. Stephanie and I have completed our first half marathon in 2 hours 26 minutes and 2 hours 23 minutes respectively.</p>
<div>We have raised a lot of money in our mam's memory over the past 6 years for Cancer Research UK, Breakthrough Breast Cancer, CLAN and the 2006 Shetland CT Scanner appeal. This year, however, we have decided to do something completely different....!! I love horses and horse riding and I think it is really important to support our military personnel. Therefore, we chose Horseback UK as our nominated charity. Horseback UK is based in Aboyne, Aberdeenshire. </div>
