The Fresh 'n' Lo Great Scottish Run 10k 2009 · 6 September 2009 ·

St Margaret of Scotland Hospice is based in Clydebank. The Hospice was the first in Scotland and has served the localities of East and West Dunbartonshire and Northwest Glasgow for over 75 years. Our commitment to dignity, respect and a truly holistic approach encompasses all that we do.

Story

As most of you will know, my Gran and namesake Louie (Louisa) Robertson, recently spent her last few months at St Margaret's Hospice in Clydebank.

The Hospice is a very special place that allowed Gran to have the care and attention she needed in a relaxed environment and meant that her end of life was comfortable, dignified and pain free.   She was very happy there and was extremely well looked after - despite initial reservations that it would be too 'churchy'  for her!

So, I am running the Fresh 'n' Lo 10K in Glasgow on the 6th September and have decide to raise a bit of money for St Margarets in the process.   (For those of you who are not fully metric, 10K  is about 6.2 miles.)

I'd be very grateful if you would consider sponsoring me  - any amount however small or large - will be gratefully recieved and put to good use by the hospice to support other families who need their help.
