Cure Crohn's Colitis has the sole objective of raising money to help fund medical research into curing Inflammatory Bowel Disease. 100% of money raised goes directly to the projects we support. All members of the charity are unpaid volunteers and no administrative fees are recovered from donations.

Story

In October 2007, little did I know that My husband and our family would start our journey with Crohn's disease. Seeing my husband in terrible pain, watching the weight fall away, seeing him struggle on and keep working, back and forth to the doctor's with no answers until he was off work too ill and too weak. Trying to keep everything together to support him and trying to keep everything as normal as possible for our children especially with Christmas and our twins' birthday getting closer. Finally, only days before Christmas and  in the early hours of their 11th birthday  bundling the children in the car to take them to their grandparents so i could take him to hospital to try and get him some desperately needed relief from the pain. Christmas in hospital but still no answers just not getting any better. After months and months of illness finally, the diagnosis - Crohn's.

This horrible disease not only affects the sufferer in oh so many ways but also those that love and care tor them. We need to find a cure and we need to find it soon!
