I'm taking part in race for life this year in memory of my friend Cheryl who lost her battle with cancer in January of this year. I'm joining a group of mutual friends who are all joining forces under 'team Cheryl' to honour and remember our friend.  

Close to my heart is also my son Ethan who now aged 5 underwent treatment last year for kidney cancer.  He was diagnosed with a wilms tumour and had to undergo surgery and chemotherapy which finished last November. He is currently in remission.
