Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

At the University of Salford we want to use our skills to help make a difference in the World. In September 2011, we're sending 20 students to Uganda with teams4u to take part in a Sports / HIV project. Students from across the School of Health, Sport & Rehabilitation Sciences will be using sports coaching as a means to engage communities in northern Uganda to take part in a HIV awareness and testing programme, ultimately helping to save lives. So, Im going on that trip (how very lucky I am) and need to raise £1700!

On Saturday 30th April 2011 I am doing a 15 mile sponsored walk along the Leeds/Liverpool Canal. This will be a major challenge as I dont walk very far day to day and Im not very fit :( I will be training a lot and WILL complete the 15 miles. PLEASE donate, even a little will help and I will keep you updated how the training is going and will send pics of the day,

For more information visit www.teams4u.com.

Please help us to make a difference by making a donation, however large or small - it is all greatly appreciated.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
