In the light of the devastating news that my sister-in-law, Alison was suffering from Acute Myeloid Leukaemia, I decided that it would be a great opportunity to raise money for "Leuka"; who specifically carry out research at the Hammersmith Hospital where Alison is receiving treatment. Thankfully the treatment Alison has received has been very effective and she is now in remission from a disease that would certainly have been fatal not too long ago.
