Tommy's funds medical research into the causes of premature birth, stillbirth and miscarriage. We’re dedicated to finding causes and treatments to save babies’ lives as well as providing trusted pregnancy and baby loss information and support.

Story

Tommy's came to my attention after a very dear friend of mine pointed me in the direction of the charity's Chief Exec, Jane Brewin.I called Jane in October and ended up having a chat with her that lasted for well over an hour. She offerered me incredibly valuable advise and told me in thorough detail all about the reserach that Tommy's is conducting into stillbirths.

As a result, we really feel compelled to support them. Their website is the only place online where I found support for 'Your Pregnancy' and 'When to call your Doctor or Midwife.' We hope to work with them in the future to produce some information and practical guidance that will help parents get through a Labour experience.

Thank you for your support. Every little counts.

have offered us so much support and guidance in the aftermath of Clemency's passing. We knew nothing about Stillborn babies and suddenly at 02:28 on August 7th, we were thrown into a ghastly world of grieving and we lost our babygirl who was unexpectedly stillborn.

Sands provided us with a plethera of information that we needed and they were always at the end of a phone for us. Lisa Wardle in the Sands press office has offered me, Clemency's Mummy, so much support and so much listening time. As well as all of this, Sands have also made the subject of Stillborn babies far less of a taboo subject matter today than it used to be.

We would like to raise funds for this chairty now in order to return a favour. This is our way of supporting them, as they continue to always be there to support us. Thank you to SANDS.
