Louise's 2017 Bloodwise Fundraising Challenge

2017 Bloodwise Fundraising Challenge · 22 February 2017
In February 2012 I was diagnosed with Hodgkin Lymphoma stage 2b what was meant to be 6 months of chemo, turned into 2 years of treatment including 4 different chemo's, immunotherapy, radiotherapy and an allograft (bone marrow transplant) with my brothers stem cells. Fortunately medical trials were available to me and I was allowed to try treatments that were to give me a chance. In December 2013 I was declared free of disease and on the 23rd March 2017 I was told I was considered cured. I am fundraising to support the fantastic work of Bloodwise the blood cancer research charity to give others in a similar situation to mine a chance to receive advancements in medicine that will help save their lives too. Throughout 2017 we (my mum & I) have set ourselves the task of raising £2,000. We are having an open garden in May and hopefully other events as the year progresses!! Please help us reach this target!! Thank you ❤️
