Snow-Camp is a youth charity providing disadvantaged young people from London’s inner city areas with the chance to experience mountain sports.

In April 2010 Snow Camp will take 180 young people from inner city London to France for a week long life changing experience.

These young people some of whom may never have left England before will be taken out of their comfort zone and pushed to limits they never knew they could reach.

To enable this to happen 21 one people have given a week of their time to support these young people in this amazing opportunity.

For the volunteers to be able to attend they not only give up a week’s leave and time but they are also asked to fundraise for their position as well

“yeah but you get a week in the French alps” I hear you cry

THIS IS NO FREE WEEK OFF

As stated before these young people may have never left England let alone taken to the French alps with wither skis or a snowboard attached to them and over come so many challenges whilst away as volunteers we support these young people through them.... from home sickness, learning new skills to understanding the French language we are around and supporting young people all around the clock from Breakfast duty to staying up to ensure every last young person is in their room and sleeping we are there to support them.
