Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Ever since I was young, I have always wanted to undertake a challenge for a charitable cause. Since finding out about The Muscular Dystrophy Campaign I think now is that time! I will be trekking for five days along the Great Wall of China in aid of the campaign, this is approximately  80Km in total or just over 8 hours trekking a day.

Muscular Dystrophy is a cruel condition that gradually wastes and weakens muscles. It robs babies and children of their strength. Many children with the condition die before reaching adulthood. There is no cure.

With your help, we can improve the quality of life for these children by providing vital equipment to increase their independence. Money raised will be used to buy equipment such as portable aids and powered wheelchairs which can cost up to £27,000 each.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer.

So please dig deep and donate now.

A Massive Thank you

Louise
