Last week our gorgeous little Brain (the brown kitty in the photo with her sister Pinky) started throwing up - a lot. So, we took her to our local vets. She was given some medication and was back to her old self. However, this week she took a turn for the worse and refused to eat or drink and became very lethargic, so we took her back to the vets for treatment. Almost £500 and numerous tests later, we were no closer to finding out what was causing the problem and we were quickly running out of money.

We found out that Brain was eligible for care with the PDSA, so we quickly transferred her to them. She's with them now and we've got our fingers (and toes, legs, arms, eyes and EVERYTHING) crossed that she'll be OK. 

The PDSA does fantastic work; providing veterinary services to animals who have owners who can't afford to pay standard vet prices. In today's economic climate, I can imagine that their important and valuable work is increasing at an alarming rate, but they receive no Government funding. Nothing. Nada. Zilch. 

So, we get to the main reason why I've set up this page. The PDSA helps thousands of people with their furry little friends and they need donations to keep them going. I'm sure they'd appreciate anything you could give them - even if it's just a couple of quid (make sure you Gift Aid it!). Just think, your money could go to towards saving an animal's life.
