I've decided to run the Great North Run again for my dear friend Tom Lethbridge, who passed away a few years ago from Aplastic anemia. I would love to raise as much money as possible so more people can be made aware of this rare type of Leukemia and eventually find a cure for such an awful disease.
Although I ran the Great North Run last year, and managed to do it in 2 hours 3 minutes, I'm hoping to do it under this time, hopefully by quite a bit, so any encouragement is greatly needed please!!! I know Tom would think this would be hugely amusing, and I really appreciate any donations towards such a worthy cause.
And don't worry, I will never be doing it again after this attempt!!!!
