Hello!

At the start of next month I'm taking part in a fundraising event called ignit10n as a member of UBBC (University of Bristol Boat Club).

The boat club is one of fifteen of the university’s sports clubs that are each undertaking a 10-hour athletic challenge on the 7 March to raise money and awareness for a local charity called Above and Beyond. Specifically raising money and awareness for their ‘Golden Gift Appeal’, which is working to go ‘above and beyond’ what the NHS can provide to two of the largest hospitals in Bristol – the BRI and the Bristol Haematology and Oncology Centre.

The work they are doing is outstanding and we are excited to be a part of the fundamental and invaluable differences that they are making.

The boat club is attempting to row 600km (the equivalent of Bristol to Edinburgh) in 10 hours, and I'll be rowing for part of the total time.

Any donations, no matter how small are really appreciated, all the money will go to it can making a difference in helping Above and Beyond continue their exceptional work.
