Paul & Martin  are riding two BMW F650 Dakar Motorbikes through 4 countries for 2000 miles in 3 weeks. We will circumnavigate Lake Victoria passing through Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda and Tanzania. We are doing it to raise awareness and funds for Love Africa; a St James Church initiative which works with local people in Uganda to suport those living with HIV/AIDS. We are in partnership with ACET (Aids Care Education & Training)

Love Africa, in partnership with ACET Uganda, has long term commitments to 5 programmes all of which are working with the poorest of the poor living with HIV/AIDS. We have strong personal relationhsips with all the programmes and our Bike Trip will take in most of them as we travel through Uganda.

The trip will be memorable for sure and an experience of a lifetime; it will also be extremely tough. We will be on a shoestring budget and exposed to all the elements, we have no back up and the African roads are not the best! Petrol and clean water are hard to find in the remote areas; and the year of planning was not just dreaming, it takes huge amounts of time and money to plan this kind of trip. Don't under estimate the hard core nature of this ride....I hope we haven’t!
