Myself and 2 colleagues are going to be jumping out of plane at 10,000 feet, all in the name of charity.

We are going to be raising money for BRISTOL'S CHILDREN'S EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT. As one of the UKs major trauma centre, we see hundreds of children every day, from all over the South West.  

Having worked in the Department for nearly 2 years, I see how lives can be changed in an instant, and hpw the money is used and how it can transform the care received by patients, as well as all their family. Every day is different in BRISTOL CHILDREN'S EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT and the doctors, nurses and multi agency team work tirelessly every minute of the day to provide the best possible care of the patients and the families. 

The money raised goes towards the improvement of facilities, facilitating staff to attend to attend a variety of different courses to provide better care for patients, buying life-saving equipment, helping with overnight family accommodation so they can be close to their sick children, and providing sick children with toys and games.
