Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
On the first Saturday of July every year The Patterdale Parish Parish Boundary Walk takes place. This year’s walk is on Saturday 2nd July 2011. This annual event is a lot of fun for those taking part and raises much needed funds for St Patrick’s Church in Patterdale and the Patterdale Church of England Primary School.
This year there are 3 separate walks covering from 7 to 30 miles to encourage more people to take part.
The route that we are doing is 7 miles:
From Kirkstone Top car park, this Walk drops down the feel side (NOT the Kirkstone Road) to the Red Pit Car Park, down the track to the west of the Kirkstone road and beck, over the small Caiston Beck Bridge, past the Ancient Settlement, through Hartsop Hall, Brotherswater, Cow Bridge, Hartsop Road End, Beckstone Farm, Crook-a-beck, and Side Farm, ending at Patterdale School
This year the boys are a year older!! (obviously)...and we are minus Poppy, so maybe we beat our time of around 5 hours! Please sponsor us as the money raised makes a huge difference to our tiny school of 34 children. Thank you
