<p><span class="Normal-C4"><span style="font-size: x-small;">On the first Saturday of July every year The Patterdale Parish Parish Boundary Walk takes place. This year’s walk is on Saturday 2nd July 2011. This annual event is a lot of fun for those taking part and raises much needed funds for St Patrick’s Church in Patterdale and the Patterdale Church of England Primary School.</span></span></p>
<p><span class="Normal-C4"><span class="Normal-C4"><span style="font-size: x-small;">This year there are 3 separate walks covering from 7 to 30 miles to encourage more people to take part. </span></span></span></p>
<p><span class="Normal-C4"><span class="Normal-C4"><span style="font-size: x-small;">The route that we are doing is 7 miles:</span></span></span></p>
<p><span class="Normal-C4"><span class="Normal-C4"><span style="font-size: x-small;"><span class="Normal-C6">From </span><span class="Normal-C7"><strong>Kirkstone Top </strong></span><span class="Normal-C6">car park, this Walk drops down the feel side (NOT the Kirkstone Road) to the </span><span class="Normal-C7"><strong>Red Pit Car Park</strong></span><span class="Normal-C6">, down the t</span><span class="Normal-C7"><strong>rack to the west of the Kirkstone road and beck</strong></span><span class="Normal-C6">, over the small </span><span class="Normal-C7"><strong>Caiston Beck Bridg</strong></span><span class="Normal-C6">e, past the </span><span class="Normal-C7"><strong>Ancient Settlement</strong></span><span class="Normal-C6">, through </span><span class="Normal-C7"><strong>Hartsop Hall</strong></span><span class="Normal-C6">, </span><span class="Normal-C7"><strong>Brotherswater</strong></span><span class="Normal-C6">, </span><span class="Normal-C7"><strong>Cow Bridge</strong></span><span class="Normal-C6">, </span><span class="Normal-C7"><strong>Hartsop Road End</strong></span><span class="Normal-C6">, </span><span class="Normal-C7"><strong>Beckstone Farm</strong></span><span class="Normal-C6">, </span><span class="Normal-C7"><strong>Crook-a-beck</strong></span><span class="Normal-C6">, and </span><span class="Normal-C7"><strong>Side Farm</strong></span><span class="Normal-C6">, ending at </span><span class="Normal-C7"><strong>Patterdale School</strong></span></span></span></span></p>

(obviously)...and we are minus Poppy, so maybe we beat our time of around 5 hours! Please sponsor us as the money raised makes a huge difference to our tiny school of 34 children.
