Wobbleberry Challenge · 22 September 2016

The Charity was established by talented horse rider, Hannah Francis, following her diagnosis with the aggressive form of bone cancer, osteosarcoma. People all over the world followed Hannah's story which she told through her mascot, Willberry. Tragically Hannah passed away at just 18 years old.

A Wobbleberry

A shy, elusive creature, the wobbleberry's natural habitat is spectating at BE events, and supporting other riders - but all this is about to change!!!

- not currently fit enough to get round a cross country course

- not currently brave enough to get round a cross country course

- old enough to know better, and know that this will hurt!

- dedicated - to raising money, to training, and conquering the fear

- supportive of each other - aiming to be weeble-esque, "we wobble, but we don't fall down"

So about four years ago I had hypnotherapy to see if it would help my irrational fear of Jumping and it turns out it's been working I have been out hunting and been able to jump happily while following a leader but now I think it's time I set myself a challenge,  after realising that the above description ....not fit enough. ....not brave enough was me and I am usually happy to be 'the groom' I thought to myself well maybe it's my turn to brave it and if I can do it raising money then even better.

So I'm going  to do it with Cai Shen my little orange horse who I have only had two months and is even more reluctant to jump than me so some work on both of us is truly needed.

What is a BE80?  The BE80 competition is the introductory level of competition into the sport of Eventing. Fences are a height of 80cm
