Phunzira is a UK-based charity that helps impoverished children and adults in the north of Malawi to receive better education and health care. We predominantly provide resources and materials and seek to create an approachable environment that focuses on long-term, sustainable community development.

Story

Hello

Thank you for visiting my page!

I am raising money for the charity Phunzira - click on the following link for more information http://www.phunzira.co.uk/

The money I and the rest of the Twig team raise will buy and install solar panels and laptops for a learning centre in a small village called Ruarwe in Malawi. Twig will also provide hundreds of educational films; see some for yourself by clicking the following link http://twig-it.com/

So, what will I be doing?

On Friday 15th July, my lovely Twig colleagues and I will be climbing Goat Fell on the Isle of Arran. That's 875,000 mm high!

I will be dressed up as a mime artist - something a bit like the attached photo (not the one of me with the dog face paint, the other one).

If you would like to donate to Phunzira that would be totally awesome!

Thank you loads - I'll let you know how I get on in Arran.

Lucy
