This is my first Iron Man! Well half but anything with Iron Man in the title is pretty cool!
Im competing in aid of the Smile Team - a worldwide organisation with the aim of establishing free cleft lip and palate surgery in the developing world. This horrible condition is so easy to cure; skilled treatment can prevent a child being ostracised and disadvantaged for life.
Im getting married next year so its a perfect way to get fit and thin for my wedding day! Probably easier ways to lose weight!!!!
For those of you not in the know - I will be undertaking a 1.2 mile open water swim, followed by a hilly 56 mile bike race, and then just to finish me off a 13.1 mile half marathon...Wish me luck and support a great charity. x
