Fundraising for JDRF
Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Since my dear brother Charlie died in 1996, Mum,
Dad and I have been keen supporters of the Juvenile Diabetes Research
Foundation, which funds research aimed at finding a cure for type 1 diabetes, a
disease that is more devastating than most people realise (and whose causes,
incidentally, have absolutely nothing to do with a person having an
irresponsible diet). During this time great progress has been made, much of it
thanks to JDRF-backed projects. Cycling to Paris is my little bit towards
helping to maintain this progress and make sure today's Charlies live to fulfil
their promise.
