Hi everyone,

Just to let you know I ran the half marathon in 2hrs 16mins!!! VERY HAPPY!

I was inspired by the marathon runners this April and wanted to compete in a marathon myself. As a novice, I thought a suitable challenge would be a half marathon by the 02. This event, Run to the Beat, is on the 26^th of September and will would hopefully allow me to hone my running skills and raise money for a great cause.

The charity I am supporting is Whizz kids, which helps change the lives of disabled children and young people in the UK. This charity is great organisation that helps disabled children gain freedom and independence for themselves by providing mobility equipment, training and life skills. Your money will not only make a difference to their lives but also their families. This is an inspirational charity that helps disabled children have an active childhood, which I am sure you will agree is important for every child.
