<p>Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.</p> <h1 id="charity-name"><span style="color: #ff0000;">I <strong>am hoping to raise money for Ashford &amp; St. Peter's Hospitals Charitable Fund - EARLY BIRTHS FUND(NEONATAL UNIT).</strong></span></h1> <h1><span style="color: #ff0000;"><strong>This is very close to my heart as my daughter Poppy spent the first 5 weeks of her life in the unit having been born 8 weeks premature.&nbsp; The care and support Poppy received was invaluable and I want to raise as much money as I can to continue their great work.</strong></span></h1> <p><strong>In the last year the unit has cared for over 1000 babies.&nbsp; This Level 3 unit has the facilities to care for the sickest of newborns and premature babies.&nbsp; All the admissions are emergencies! The more up-to-date life saving equipment the unit has to hand, the better they can cope with the constantly fluctuating demand. For example, an incubator costs &pound;12,000, standard monitoring equipment &pound;15,000 and a ventilator &pound;25,000.
