Broadgate Tower Abseil · 6 June 2015

In low- and middle-income countries fewer than 1 in 10 children with cancer are diagnosed, treated or given pain relief. World Child Cancer improves cancer care for some of the world’s poorest children by creating international twinning partnerships between medics hospitals and parent support groups

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit ourJustGiving page.

On 6th June, Emma and I shall be abseiling down the 33 storey Broadgate Tower in an attempt to raise money for World Child Cancer.

As you can imagine it’s very complex process getting cancer diagnosed and treated in some of the world’s most remote and poor places. That’s where World Child Cancer's unique twinning approach comes into its own. They are fortunate that many of the world’s leading hospitals, oncologists and pediatricians give their time for free – diagnosing and treating children but also training support on the ground to make a lasting difference.

Without this voluntary help, they wouldn’t be able to make the difference they do. So, your donations don’t pay for medical expertise, instead they go to giving our medical experts the tools they need to do their jobs. Direct, on the ground and where it’s needed the most

Thank you for reading, any donation would be hugely appreciated!
