British 10K London Run 2013 · 14 July 2013 ·

We are committed to improving the health and wellbeing of Deaf people. Our range of specialist services are delivered in BSL, including psychological therapy, social care, domestic abuse support, advocacy and more. We also collaborate and campaign to improve access to health care and information.

Story

On Sunday July 14th 2013 I shall be running the London British 10k, raising money for Sign Health, the Health care Charity dedicated to deaf people.

Having grown up being the only hearing child in a deaf family I decided to run for this charity as I have only just discovered them and wanted to give them my support. Sign Health is a charity committed to improving healthcare and achieving equality of provision for Deaf children and adults, and so I have pledged to raise a minimum sponsorship of £150 (of course more would be just fantastic!)

Anything you can afford, big or small WILL make a difference and I and the charity will be for ever grateful. So please dig deep, get behind the sofa, look under the rug and empty out that old purse and pledge whatever you can.

Thanking you!

Lucy
