This year the High Chief Ranger (National President) for the Foresters Friendly Society has chosen to support Barnardo's as their charity. Considering that my mum, Janet Clements, is holding the position this year Trish and I will be supporting her by spending this year pushing our limits and comfort zones in order to inspire you to give as much money to this great cause as possible. Let us tell you about our year of challenges.

The first challenge consists of walking 100 miles along the South Downs Way in July. Apparently you can comfortably complete it in 8 days; we are doing it in 6! There will also be cycling and peak challenges to be confirmed. The pinnacle of our challenges, however, will be completing Kilimanjaro in March 2014.

The amount above is the minimum we would like to have raised by the end of next March. In order to put things into perspective Barnardo's only spends 5p of every pound on admin and the rest goes straight to helping the children so we want to raise the optimum amount possible.

Please believe in children and help us to give them the best start possible by digging deep and giving us as much or as little as you can afford.
