Story

On June 4th 2017 we will again be part of a team taking part in the
Blenheim Palace Triathlon for Thinking of Oscar. This incredible charity has been doing some really fantastic work.

Thinking of Oscar was set up in memory of Oscar Cole, who died suddenly in June 2014 aged just 16 months. Its aim is to support children and their families whilst in hospital care by funding projects and innovation over and above that supplied by the NHS. To date Thinking of Oscar has raised in excess of £150,000 and has funded innovative vein finding devices into the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford. It has just completed the fundraising target of £100,000 to fully fund a new Paediatric Procedures Unit for the Oxford Children's Hospital and is now working to implement this unit whilst looking for the next project or innovation to support. The procedures unit will cater for over 2,500 children every year from in and around Oxford. Thinking of Oscar has also started working with other children's hospitals throughout the UK.
