<p>Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.</p> <p>Craig and I are doing a Skydive next month (on my birthday!) and have decided to try and raise some money for the charity Animal SOS.</p> <p>Animal SOS rescue and treat stray and sick animals in Sri Lanka. The project is a unique facility for street animals suffering in Sri Lanka. As well as providing a tranquil and loving sanctuary for these poor animals, it also provides emergency veterinary services and life saving treatments.</p> <p>Part of the charity's mission is to provide a rehoming service for abadoned and stray animals, acquire land for a no-kill sanctuary, work with and educate local communities and authorities and overall to alleviate the suffering of these vulnerable animals.</p> <p>The charity's founder, Kim Cooling first visited Sri Lanka on holiday in 1992 and was horrified by the scale of animal suffering and cruelty she witnessed. She has since strived to help the desperate street animals using her own funds for veterinary bills and rescue work. Back home, in London, Kim has 9 of her own rescue dogs including 4 abused ex Sri Lankan strays she saved from the streets.</p> <p>Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure.
