We are dedicated to improving the quality of life and chances of survival for young cancer patients aged 13-24. We fund and build specialist units in NHS hospitals and provide dedicated staff, bringing young people together so they can be treated by teenage cancer experts in the best place for them.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Me, Nikki and Ben are running the Bristol 10k on the 5th May (as well as other events) to raise money for Teenage Cancer Trust. We are raising money in memory of my friend Ella Redman who was passionate about getting a unit for teenagers set up in Bristol - where young people aged 18-24 could be treated together and the facilities and surroundings would be suitable and supportive for people of that age. Ella spent over 100 nights in hospital whilst she was being treated for cancer. Teenage Cancer Trust believe that teenagers shouldn't have to stop being teenagers, just because they have cancer. So they build specialist units in NHS hospitals which improve the quality of life and chances of survival for young people with cancer.
