CLAPA is a support organisation for all those affected by cleft lip and/or palate. One in 700 children are born with this condition. We provide information, advice, and support through our online events led by staff members and volunteers. Facebook groups, and peer and parent support services.

Story

From the 5th to the 7th July, alongside 9 other Year 11 girls from my school (The Queen's School in Chester), I will be cycling 130 miles from Holyhead to our school in Chester, in aid of CLAPA (the Cleft Lip and Palate Association).

Although I never experienced help from this charity myself, I know people who have received the care they needed through this wonderful charity. CLAPA helps families all over the UK giving advice about feeding bottles, support for the families and children through various operations and many years after.

It would help so many people if you could sponsor my fellow cyclists and I on our challenging ride, any donations would be greatly appreciated by myself, the other riders and the charity.

Thank you.
