I am raising money for the National Star College's Star Appeal (www.natstar.ac.uk) by taking part and leading on two fundraising treks next year. The first of my treks is Hadrian's Wall in May 2010. Trekking around 10-15 miles a day covering a total of around 90 miles, this is going to be the BIGGEST challenge I have ever faced...... But this will be closely followed (if I survive the first one!) by trekking in Nepal in October 2010, covering distance and altitude which I have never experienced before.

I am nervous and scared but mostly I am excited and ready to take on these challenges. Those of you who know me will know just how big a challenge both of these treks will be for me but I am determined to do both and hopefully be an excellent leader for the rest of my team members.
