<p>Well I did it in 2 hours and 7 minutes; four years older and three minutes faster than last time! That'll do nicely thanks. Thanks for supporting me - it did help and I know that the volunteers at PSC Support will be grateful too.</p>

<p>Hello friends, colleagues and passers-by</p>
<p>On 6th November I'm having another stab at a half marathon. I want to run faster than I did four years ago, but I need motivating.</p>
<p>You may not have heard of PSC, a rare liver disease. At its worst it requires the sufferer to have a liver transplant; at its best it is debilitating and unpleasant. PSC Support is a small charity, working to support the families and sufferers of the disease and to improve knowledge and understanding of its impact on lives. It's a subject close to mine, and many of my close friends' hearts, right now.</p>
<p>I reckon that I can be motivated to run one second per mile faster for every tenner I raise. If I reach my goal of £200 then I'll knock about five minutes off my 2007 time. </p>
<p>So make an old woman happy and cough up some of your hard earned cash. You all know by now that JustGiving is the easiest and safest and quickest way to give and that - if you pay UK tax - they can claim even more cash back.</p>
