On the 7th March, I am participating in the launch of a brand new fundraising event at the University of Bristol, called ignit10n.

Fifteen of the university’s sports clubs are each undertaking a 10-hour athletic challenge to raise money and awareness for a local charity called Above and Beyond. We are hoping to raise funds and awareness for their ‘Golden Gift Appeal’, which is working to go ‘above and beyond’ what the NHS can provide to two of the largest hospitals in Bristol – the BRI and the Bristol Haematology and Oncology Centre. The work they are doing is outstanding and we are excited to be a part of the fundamental and invaluable differences that they are making.

 7 marca 201 biorę udział w najnowszej zbiórce pieniędzy na cele charytatywne organizowanej przez Uniwersytet Bristolski. Nazywa się ona ignit10n. W jego ramach wszyscy członkowie klubu będą starali się 'przepłynąć' na ergometrach 1 dystans z Bristolu do Edynburga, ponad 600 km.

 

 15 uniwersyteckich klubów sportowych bierze udział w 10-godzinnym wyzwaniu aby zebrać pieniądze i zwiększyć popularność lokalnej organizacji charytatywnej, Above and Beyond. Staramy się zebrać fundusze na ich 'Golden Gift Appeal', który ma za zadanie wesprzeć razem z NHS (brytyjska służba zdrowia) jedne z największych szpitali w Bristolu: BRI oraz the Bristol Haematology and Oncology Centre. Praca jaką wykonują jest niesamowita i jesteśmy podeskcytwani mogąc być cześcią fundamentalnych i bezcennych zmian jakie wprowadzają.
