Hey Everyone,
First of all thank you for taking some of your time to visit my JustGiving page. This summer I am venturing to the extremely remote Kanyogoga Primary school in the mountainous region of the Mubende district in Uganda. The school consists only has three brick built classrooms and two further made of wattle and daub to accommodate 7 years of children. The remainder of the classes are held outside under trees.
This year my team and I will volunteer to help construct a new block of three classrooms which will allow all of the classes to be held comfortably indoors, to be able to do this I need to raise as close as possible to £1000, to cover materials and a small number of local skilled trades people in Uganda.
Any support of any proportion would be hugely appreciated. Any donations* will be going to such a good cause and will have a lasting effect on the lives and society of the area we are trying to help.
To help I will be taking part in a sponsored abseil in the middle of Exeter. In addition other ideas are formulating which could include assault courses, pub quizzes, cake sales and many more!
Thank you so much for your support!
Luke Farrier
*all proceeds go directly to cover the cost of materials and skilled trades people.
