I have decided to take part in the London to Paris bike ride this June to raise money for Cancer Research UK. The ride will be spread over 4 days and I am going to be cycling 95 miles on day one, 72 miles on day two, 75 miles on day three and 62 miles on day four. Any donation you are able to make would be very much appreciated, however small.

I have chosen to raise money for cancer research UK because most people are directly or indirectly affected by cancer at some point during their lives, and around 285,000 new cases of cancer are diagnosed each year in the UK alone. Cancer Research UK is the world's leading independent organisation dedicated to cancer research and they support research into all aspects of cancer through the work of more than 4,500 scientists, doctors and nurses. The charity work hard to improve our understanding of cancer and to develop better ways to prevent, diagnose and treat the disease.
