Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. I have decided to embark upon a mammoth challenge in 2019 and have chosen to support the Ronald McDonald House Charities - please carry on reading to understand a little more about their cause.

Ronald McDonald Houses enable families to maintain a degree of normal life while their child is undergoing medical treatment in partnered specialist children's hospitals across the UK.

Having a sick child can impact families across all areas of their lives. Time, money, stress, loss of education and loss of earnings are but a few of the ways in which families can be affected by their child being cared for in hospital. Ronald McDonald Houses work with families to allow them to focus on supporting their child and do our utmost to lessen the other stresses. Children that require specialist medical care can often be in hospital for months or even years at a time. With the help of our supporters we enable families to stay together during these times so that as much normality as is possible can be maintained. We believe families together are stronger.

I've never embarked upon such a challenge, I haven't even run 10k until a few weeks ago! Thank you for all your support it means so much to me and all the families this fundraising will benefit.
